Can I have my customer run and submit with Mitrend Scanner?

Yes. Using Mitrend Scanner and an Upload Token provided by you, your customer can upload assessments that you can access and view.

You should visit the organization settings page and create an organization for your customer. Creating an organization allows you to group all their future assessments together. After creating the Organization click Upload Tokens on the left hand menu to access the token for them.

Instruct your customer to download Mitrend Scanner using this link and provide the token for the organization you created. When your customer starts up Scanner they will be prompted for this upload token.

When the customer finishes their scan, they will be able to automatically upload their data and the assessment will be associated with your account via of the provided Upload Token.

I have an error running Mitrend Scanner, how can I get help?

In order to better assist you with an Mitrend Scanner issues we need the logs collected during the problem scan.

Gathering the logs
  1. Launch Mitrend Scanner.
  2. Click the "HELP" button at the bottom of window.
  3. Click the "Open Output Directory" button.
  4. Close Mitrend Scanner to avoid complications when zipping in the next step.
  5. Locate and zip the timestamp folder that corresponds with the time of your issue. If you are unsure which folder contains the relevant output files, zip the whole 'mitrend' output directory.
Sending us the logs
  1. Upload the zip produced in the previous steps as a new assessment using the same device type as the type of scan you were attempting when the error occurred.
  2. Email support@mitrend.com with that assessment id and details of your error.

Can I invite anyone to join my team?

You can invite anyone with the same corporate domain email address to join your team. Visit the team settings page to manage your team.

Why is the status of my assessment Under Review?

Your assessment is being reviewed by one of our engineers, you will be notified as soon as we have more details.
